Over the last month I've spent some time introducing a bunch of AI components and scripts into my Zelda-like indie game. The enemy in question is a Low poly slime monster, that bites and leaps at the player. The system uses a custom state machine and behaviour system that I created myself from scratch, complete with an editor window. If you want to see a more in depth video of this tool, I made one in the past, here: https://youtu.be/xoKgMK1-meI ā™« Music ā™« All background music are covers by @TheConsoulsBand Midna's Theme - Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Sunleth Waterscape - Final Fantasy XIII Theme of Love - Final Fantasy IV Kafka's Theme - Final Fangasy VI Shop - Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time šŸ•® Chapters šŸ•® 00:00 AI Move logic 02:11 AI Detection 03:51 AI Behaviour Manager 08:28 AI Attacks 11:45 AI Animations 16:09 Collision Exclusion 17:29 Pushing enemy into a pit. 21:03 Issues to solve 22:13 Conclusion Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Facepalme Long Play Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzOluuJezYEM1wP4Kd0EPhg
