First Steps into making a Zelda Inspired game. | Devlog #1

These are my first steps into rebuilding an old prototype I worked on a few years ago in the unity engine. It's inspired by 2.5d Zelda games with a top down camera perspective, however all aspects of the design wont be based on Zelda, just the general feel of exploring dungeons and fighting monsters. The main focus is going to be combat with less enthesis on puzzle solving. I have plans going forward with the project but the short term goal is to create a working prototype with the bare minimum required for this to be a game. The game has lore written and a title already, but I will reveal more when the initial build is ready.
