I can't even begin to tell you what changed. Just so much. I've been working non-stop to get the player testing demo rolling this week end and it really shoed in m eye bags. Here's a summary of what has been added: - Colour randomization has been removed - A mission roguelite system - you travel the virtual world and encounter random events - Added new ComCreatures (SPOILER DOWN BELOW) - Added combat effects (Currently only poison) - Overhauled combat UI - Added a working time system and the option to sleep - Added a bonding mechanic in which you get "trust" by petting your creature (increases exp gain) - Added item usage to combat - Reworked Laboratory background - Lots of bugfixes and changes Feedback has been going on for a day now and I already received tons of helpful messages. Some were rather hurtful, as shown in the devlog video - but that is part of the struggle of having a project public. What's next? For now I am just collecting feedback and pushing out hotfixed. If you want to participate in player testing, then please consider joining the discord. ____ In this world, ComCreatures are helpful digital pets that are installed via floppy disks. In order for them to perform their job well, you take care of them and train them. People like to outsource malware protection to ComCreatures. Traverse cyber systems deafeating pesky malicious software, triggering events, gaining experience and items. You can merge two ComCreatures together to make a stronger one - or maybe find a completly new special variant of ComCreature! ComCreatures is my passion project. I am aiming to create a creature collection game heavily inspired by titles such as Dragon Warrior Monsters, Digimon and Pokémon. The creatures specifically are inspired by the former, but are unique in the way that their visual features are randomly generated.
