Sooo.... Now you kinda know what I did these past 5 month in which I haven't posted :'D
Also here is more info on how to build for steam:
1. I'm an idiot. You can pretty much just drop a executable into the steam sdk and it will run. You will still need to learn how to use the sdk, but there is good tutorials on that.
2. The steam interface needs to burn in hell. Seriously... They give you a lot of tools to check everything... but uploading graphics, finding info and which steps you need to take when, are hidden away in sub menues and the whole UX is terrible. YES I KNOW I'M COMPLAINING A BOUT A DEV TOOL AND THEY ALL HAVE SHITTY INTERFACES. Yeah but anyway I couldn't find out where you update your changes after you upload your exe (the wording also says "publish changes" which Josef and me though were for the live steam page).
3. if you wanna integrate steam achivements into your godot project you need to download and compile another version of the engine, that has steam integration. the documentation for this is all on github (which is another site whos interface shall burn) and as a non-coder it was insainly difficult to figure out how to compile and get stuff working.
4. Monolith of Minds (https://twitter.com/monolithofminds?lang=de) are the true heroes. First of all.. they're TWIN GAMEDEVELOPERS how cool is that!!! Second of all... they wrote a tutorial that includes IMAGES (for artists like me) and it's pretty eas to follow up to a certain point. And third: their programmer Richard took some of his time to teach me how to compile godot and troubleshoot why it wasn't launching from the steam editor.
5. To the people who make video tutorials: why are you all using linux and WHY CAN YOU NOT EDIT OUT ALL OF YOUR RAMBLING. I don't wanna know 10 mins of your life story or look at 5 mins of code compiling.
