In this video I break down how I'm generating the starting island for Cloudscape. I cover using perlin noise for 2-D island generation, along with using Poisson-Disk sampling to randomly place objects. I also explain why I choose to use chunk loading and show off the beginning of the random forage item generation for beach items.
