My 2D pixel basketball game project - Let the journey begin! Devlog # 0

I'm Joe. I'm a father of four, a new grandpa, a professional software engineer, and I'm building a game in my spare time. I'm so excited to introduce you to my indie game dev project. It's a (currently) untitled basketball game that is inspired by the likes of Double Dribble and Baseball Stars, and more recently Basketball Classics and Legend Bowl. I'm building what I hope will be a very solid basketball game with a fully-immersive franchise mode that lets you build your own team, customizing uniforms, player appearance, arenas with a player draft, trades, and more.
